We were ready to leave at 8am this morning and the sun was shining for another great day of our trip.
Thank goodness we got a gps with our last rental car as it made the trip to LA some much more stress free. I was able to enjoy the scenery more.
This is Camp Pendleton a marine training base we passed.
The girls offered to take a selfie of our last day of road tripping.
Not too far until we reach our last destination.
Upon arriving early at Magic Castle Wenwere so pleased to be told that our room was ready and we had been upgraded to a two bedroom unit. Thank you Sonja.
After unloading the car we made our way down to Hollywood Boulevard which was a short 10 minute walk.
After some souvenir shopping and some lunch we were ready to do the Walk of Fame
It was very busy so legs were to best we could do.
This star is a favourite of ours in NCIS LA.
We wandered passed the Chinese Theatre.
On our way back to Magic Castle we spotted a fury friend. Had to take a photo for #squirrelchaser in Instagram. They are very cute but I am so glad we don't have them in Australia as I think they could be quite a pest.
When we got back the the hotel we jumped in the Town and Country and headed up to Griffith Observatory so we could see the Hollywood sign.
It was very busy and we were still quite away from it but we were satisfied that we had been there and done that.
We decided to have a quiet afternoon in our very magical Magic Castle. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but they offer a service where they will order your meal from a local restaurant that delivers. We just placed our order with reception and Chinese arrived at 6pm. Too easy.
